Flat against you all the way round, with no digging at the front and no gap at the small of your back. Slide two fingers under it — that's about right. If it takes four, size down. The front. Supported and held, not flattened — a contoured front gives you shape without pressure. If it's pressing rather than holding, the size is wrong, not the cut. The leg openings. They should hug the top of your thigh and stop. A biting ridge means too small; a gap you could slip a hand into means too big. The back. Sitting flat with no bunching in the middle.
